In 2013 almost all Chinese cities experienced some of the highest pollution levels ever recorded, chasing people indoors and affecting the health of millions. Fresh and clean air is rare and almost only findable in the landscape of the untouched nature in the mountains, which is regrettably not accessible for every one.
In China's tourism sector air pollution is significantly influencing traveller's choice of vacation destinations such as Sweden, where clean air is one of the big selling points. The number of Chinese visitors to Sweden rose in 2013 by 22%.
But travellers expect to have everything about their travel plans at their finger tops. Integrating travel services over multiple platforms is both difficult and costly but consolidating these elements helps provide a robust travel experience as ANNA AGTMA's assemblage artwork shows.
