How does an artist use humour, irony, satire or sarcasm in his work ?
Can an artwork be funny and critical at the same time?
Does a contemporary artist always take himself seriously?
Does humour satisfy an urgent need among artist and audience to reflect upon the absurdity of daily existence?

ANNA AGTMA (also known as ANNA A.) explores these questions through her exhibition “Breathe, look, smile”, appealing the audience by her political, philosophical, sometimes provocative and poignant, but always humorous assemblages.
